 Bodega Bagel is in the Trademarket in Belfast which has a great atmosphere all day long, its built up by multiple food and drink stalls so there's something there for everyone. The workers where overall really nice and helpful, explaining the buzzer they gave out to alert you when your order is ready.

 

I chose "Lox" bagel. This is smoked salmon and a smear of your choice, on an everything bagel. Initially I was impressed that the bagels where freshly made daily, however the price of £7.50 did shock me a little. My bagel was a good size, so this helped justify the price. It was jam packed with lots of salmon and the perfect amount of smear. It also had tomato slices and had capers which I've never tried before. I was a bit apprehensive about this at first as I'm not the biggest tomato lover and never tried a caper before, but it turned out to be the perfect combo!  Overall I would give this bagel a 5/5 on taste, although I do believe £7.50mis a bit overpriced for a bagel.

My vegetarian housemate was impressed with the menu as it was so small yet she had more than one option which is unusual, as usually there is limited vegetarian options even on big menus. My housemate went "Ace" on an everything bagel, for her spread she chose ketchup. The cheese in the bagel was perfectly melted and the egg was cooked to perfection. The bagel had a salty taste to it which she enjoyed. Overall she called this bagel "The best bagel I've ever had," giving it a rating of 5/5.
